Flying tonight

I'm off to the UK for a stint on Rocket FM. This picture shows how glorious autumn can be in dear old Blighty.

Bike theft unreproved

We've had our share of bike theft in Toronto - see PunchBuggy Passim - but they have the same problem in London too. Seems the police are too busy with form-filling for their Icelandic bank accounts to bother.

Porter airlines connects to Chicago

The new service from Toronto City Centre airport will start on November 12. The route will fly to Chicago Midway International Airport, about nine miles south-west of downtown Chicago. This is good news for all business boosters in Toronto.
new underpass opening in Toronto shortly should help connect the downtown to the airport. Time to reconsider building the bridge to Toronto City Centre airport and alleviate congestion at the bottom of Bathurst Street. In these troubled times Hogtown needs all the help it can get. See PunchBuggy Passim.
My spies tell me that there is to be a new terminal built at the island airport to make the journey even more convenient. Bring it on.

Taxpayers in fresh Olympic sting

An Olympic-sized bill is heading the way of UK taxpayers. Now surely is the time to cancel the Olympics, as the government can no longer justify this folly.
Update: Vancouver taxpayers due for haircut too.
